Project: Turf Entrance Uplift for Events Centre

Project Overview:

This project focused on transforming the main entrance lawns of a high-end reception and event centre to create a clean, premium finish for guests arriving at the venue.

The existing front 3 lawns had become patchy and had died off across several areas, detracting from the presentation of the main entrance and surrounding grounds. Given the areas forms an important part of the first impression for weddings, functions and other events, the goal was to completely rejuvenate the lawn and create a high-quality, consistent finish.

The approach focused on excavating and regrading the existing lawn area, installing fresh topsoil and establishing approximately 300m² of new Kikuyu instant roll-out turf.

Site Preparation & Machinery

The first stage of the project involved preparing and reshaping the existing lawn area to create the correct levels and a consistent base for the new turf.

Fresh topsoil was installed across the lawn area to provide a quality growing medium and establish the final levels required for the new turf.

Approximately 20m³ of topsoil supplied and installed
Topsoil spread and graded across the lawn area
Surface levelled to create a consistent finish through the main entrance area
Final preparation completed ready for instant turf installation

Lawn Installation

Once the ground preparation and final levelling were complete, fresh Kikuyu instant roll-out turf was installed to provide an immediate transformation.

Turf laid across the prepared main entrance lawn
Installation completed to create a consistent and professional finish

The completed project transformed the previously patchy entrance lawn into a fresh, uniform green space, creating a high-end finish in keeping with the presentation and character of the reception and event centre.
